Hello World!!!
This is the page that explains me! My name is Merida Teot, I just started my third year of college and my second year here at the University of Northern Colorado, I am a writer... I guess. By this I mean I generally write in order to please others around me, teachers, peers, parents and relatives; it is very rare that I take the time to ever just write for the sake of writing or write just to express myself through words. The reason this is, is because i don't feel the need for the world to know my every thought, my every desire or my every hope,dream or fear. Why you may ask, because i fear the vicious bite of judgment, that never ending fear that someone, who does not know me, will tell me my hopes, dreams, fears, and loves are wrong. That is why i choose to express my self through dance, and that is also why I chose to be English major so i could read for the love of reading. I do hope one day though that my own reservations about other peoples opinions will not stop me at something I am really not that bad at, I guess we all have to remember that writing, like dance and falling in love, is best done when we don't care what other people think and only care what is in our hearts.
